"The Way You Sea  Me"

The film tells the story of the encounter between two children, a boy and a girl, who have completely different ways of seeing the world. He, afraid of what the sea waters can bring, and she, who finds poetry in every grain of sand, learn together that to appreciate life, all you have to do is surrender to your senses. It is in this connection that a story of overcoming, lessons and a transformative experience is born.

Inspired by the children's book “O Menino e o Mar” by Lulu Lima, the short film, narrated in a sensitive way and with careful photography, addresses important themes for today's world such as diversity, accessibility, the excessive use of technology, the environment, overcoming fears and the importance of using imagination.

Thanks to the strength of the theme, which adds entertainment while promoting various reflections, the short film has pleased a wide audience and critics.

It was the winner of the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro (Grande Otelo Award) and has been receiving awards all over the world, where it has already won 35 awards and been selected for 80 festivals in 20 countries. Among those in Brazil, there are renowned festivals such as Mostra de Tiradentes, Ouro Preto Film Festival, Curitiba International Film Festival, Curta Kinoforum, among others.
